I didn't complain of texinfo, the `authoring' format, but info, the
implementation used to browse.  It's just poor compared to man pages.
You're presented with a little `node' of information.  The rest is
rigidly arranged around it.  The hyperlinks give little that less
doesn't provide with its searching and having the whole thing available
in a single document is superior.  Thankfully less provides that with
/*.

It's a bit like when perl moved from a single man page :-(
