Hi Ricardo,

If you are importing EPS using PSPIC, then the top of the graphic
(plus margin above) should be level with the line where .PSPIC occurs,
_provided_ the coordinates in the %%BoundingBox line are consistent
with the edges of the graphic as drawn in the coordinate system used
within the EPS file.

Some software has a tendency to get the BoundingBox wrong when creating
EPS files, in which case the graphic will print in the wrong place.
WordPerfect 6/7/8 does this in certain circumstances, e.g. when you
print as PS a page where you have imported a WP graphic image: it
places the graphic measuring from the top of the page downwards, but
computes the BoundingBox measuring from the bottom of the page upwards ...

As an experiment, I suggest you edit [a copy of] the EPS file.
Where you have the line of the form

%%BoundingBox llx lly urx ury [four numbers]

try successively _adding_ the same amount to lly and ury. The more you
add, the further down the page the graphic will print. If this works,
it suggests that the lly and ury are too low.

Another experiment to try is viewing the graphic (the EPS file itself)
using 'gv'. If the BoundingBox is right, you will see the graphic
_exactly_ framed in the 'gv' display. If it is wrong, you will see
only part of it, or even none of it, since the part of the graphic
that is outside the BoundingBox will not be shown when you use 'gv'.
Or possibly you might see the whole graphic, but with white space
around it (in this case probably below it) within the 'gv' frame.
This would be a sign that the BoundingBox is too big.

I hope this helps.
Ted.
