Folks,

Thomas Baruchel and I beg your indulgence for using the groff list
as a private messaging service.

At the present time, some such thing seems unavoidable. My local
providers (mcc.ac.uk), in their wisdom, have put a block on mail
emanating, or appearing to emanate, from domains appearing in,
or resembling domains which appear in, a list which may be
consulted at

  http://mail-abuse.org/dul/

specifically

  http://mail-abuse.org/dul/cidr-data.txt

The result is that Thomas can not mail directly to me since somewhere
in his headers is an item which triggers this nonsense. Therefore for
the time being he will have to mail me indirectly and, unfortunately,
the groff list is the medium. Apologies; and as soon as I can I shall
be having a quiet word with the local founts of wisdom with a view to
putting a stop to it.
