   I did a:
      /usr/local/src/gnu/cvs/groff/configure --prefix=/usr/gnu/groff-cvs


   I needed to do (manually)
      mkdir /usr/gnu/groff-cvs
   to install...


Yes, this is documented in Makefile.in -- should I change it to create
the $(prefix) directory also?
