Be careful with the SHM code, get the locking correct. Take a
look at the chronyd socket interface, it is more modern.

That should be sufficient. But don't expect your time to be accurate
to better than a few 100 milli sec.

Mediatek MTK3333 receiver. Looks nice. But their are newer MTK
GNSS at cheaper prices. Fine if you only need one, or a few.
Configuring it, and then decoding the GGA, RMC, and ZDA will not be
a lot of work. But it will be specific to that chip.
