Frm the output below, your KPPS is fine.

Here is what I asked for:

        # gpsd -D 5 -N -n /dev/pps0 /dev/ttyUSB0 |& fgrep PPS

This is not that:

> root@ATIS-Box:/home/pi/gpsd-3.19# ./gpsd -D 5 -N -n /dev/pps0
> /dev/ttyUSB0 |& fgrep PPS

Do not put /dev/pps0 on the command line.  In the few cases, not this one,
that you do need /dev/pps0 on the command line, do not put it first.
