You have the source.  That is what grep is for.

A quick look does not show any driver using them.

Looks not.  But sending commands to the GPS is the easiest part.
There are several examples of how to send: contib/motosend.c and
contrib/ashctl.c

Look at the other drivers.  That is the easy part.

But first you need to send us the module documentation and sample output.
