Hi pgsd users, after some struggle with the CSRG0530 (SirfV) i finally got it to talk happily to gpsd. While switching protocols (gpsctl -b / -n) i noticed that gpxlogger and cgps only work while the GPS is set to NMEA mode (they can connect to gpsd and see the device but dont get any data) while gpsmon works no matther if i use NMEA or OSP. Is there any way to use gpxlogger while in OSP mode? Are there any (dis)advantages by using one protocol or the other? best regards, Tobi -- Tobi |
