Hello, For me, gpsd starts at boot and when hot pluggingGPS In Syslog: Mar 15 17:39:32 raspberrypi systemd[1]: Starting system-gpsdctl.slice. Mar 15 17:39:32 raspberrypi systemd[1]: Created slice system-gpsdctl.slice.Mar 15 17:39:32 raspberrypi gpsdctl: gpsd_control(action=add, arg=/dev/ttyUSB0)
Mar 15 17:39:32 raspberrypi gpsdctl: reached a running gpsdFor this to work with my GPS I had to comment out the line for my equipment in /lib/udev/rules.d/60-gpsd.rules :
ATTRS{idVendor}=="067b", ATTRS{idProduct}=="2303", SYMLINK+="gps%n", TAG+="systemd", ENV{SYSTEMD_WANTS}="address@hidden"
