I am trying to use gpsd on an raspberry pi. I followed this instructions: http://www.gtkdb.de/index_36_2511.html The first time i used it it works perfect. But only one time - i never get started it again! When i try to open gpsd in debug mode i see: address@hidden gpsd /dev/ttyAMA0 -F /var/run/gpsd.sock -n -N -D 3 gpsd:INFO: launching (Version 3.6) gpsd:ERROR: can't create IPv6 socket gpsd:INFO: listening on port gpsd gpsd:INFO: NTPD ntpd_link_activate: 1 gpsd:INFO: stashing device /dev/ttyAMA0 at slot 0 gpsd:INFO: opening GPS data source type 2 at '/dev/ttyAMA0' gpsd:ERROR: /dev/ttyAMA0 already opened by another process gpsd:ERROR: initial GPS device /dev/ttyAMA0 open failed gpsd:INFO: running with effective group ID 20 gpsd:INFO: running with effective user ID 65534 gpsd:INFO: startup at 2015-08-08T10:26:49.000Z (1439029609) But the interal serial interface is not used by another process and locked up. I can open the interface without problem with minicom and see the NMEA data coming in. minicom -b 9600 -o -D /dev/ttyAMA0 The baud is set correctly before opening gpsd. address@hidden:/# stty -F /dev/ttyAMA0 speed 9600 baud; line = 0; min = 1; time = 5; ignbrk -brkint -icrnl -imaxbel -opost -onlcr -isig -icanon -iexten -echo -echoe -echok -echoctl -echoke I have no idea what's going wrong? Any help would be wonderful. Thanks.
