Hello

I just downloaded gpsd-3.9.tar.gz into my laptop that runs fedora 12. Will this work?

I want to connect the serial port of my laptop to a RS 422<-> RS 232 converter which will be hooked to a  Trimble GPS receiver to get some readings.
