Oregons x00 are predecessors of x50 series. These only lack 3D compass 
and camera. They doen't have serial port, only USB.

I ran gpsmon and repluged GPS few times. It got following chunks of data:

but these data came only when the GPS got plugged, then GPS became dumb.
