well, i allow, that the data flicker.

Your use case is only going to get more common.  gpsd supports multiple
serial devices, and separates them by device "path".  I guess nmea2000
should do that too?

That was my intention.

Can you send here a regression log with multiple receivers?  That way
we can ponder the problem in public.

Of course i can, but the file in test/nmea2000/ already use provide the data from two gps reciever:

Garmin AIS600         : AIS Transmitter

Garmin GPS17x NMEA2000: NMEA2000 GPS Receiver at 10 Hz update rate

Garmin GPSMAP 720     : Chart Plotter with internal GPS 1 Hz update rate
