Redesign templates

A while back I made some mockups for the gnustep site. They sort of fell off the radar for a while due to other projects. But thanks to some prodding from Banlu Kemiyatorn, I took a few free hours yesterday and today to turn the graphical mockups into actual page templates.

(there's some sort of problem with WinIE at the moment, see more on this below)

You can give them a whirl here:
http://treehouseideas.com/downloads/gnustep/templates/
http://treehouseideas.com/downloads/gnustep/templates/secondary.html

And download the archive here:
http://treehouseideas.com/downloads/gnustep/gnustep-templates.tar.gz

The archive contains a few different versions of the header that can be easily swapped in and out. So somebody can play around with that, or load them randomly or whatever. Most of the links in the page point to "/", so clicking them on the demo site will simply send you to the treehouseideas.com home page.

Both pages and the stylesheet validate W3C tests. I checked them out in Safari 1.1, Firebird 0.7, and MacIE 5.2.3.

I also just checked the site out in WinIE 6 and it unfortunately seems to be acting strange (content and sidebar overlap). I don't have time to debug that out right now, but maybe somebody could take a look at the stylesheet and make some headway? It may be that we'll need a separate stylesheet for WinIE or something.

The mockups are still available here for reference (see "Round 2.5"):

Happy Thanksgiving!
