Puzzled by this. I was just thinking of an #ifdef OSX type thing - all
the GNustep birnaries should work the same way, I think we all want
that.

The snipped bit is, though the comment about RPM's isnt. Why would you
be using RPM's on OSX (or indeed on anything other than Linux), or
have I missed the point in a spectacular way?
I generally code from GNUstep and where OSX requires different code
stick it in an #ifdef. Its worked so far very nicely...
