hi devels,
i implemented (parts of) nsdrawer's screen representation.
attached is a patch (cvs diff), that draws something on the screen.
be kind, i took some less than two hours, thus its far from being nice, or
bugfree (never crashed here... but only basic testing)
... and it does not look good at the moment ;(
i implemented the drawer as a borderless window
current limitations:
- does not move, when window moves
- does not have any border
-> looks very bad
i allready have a (cute) workaround, but this will break ui consistency with
mac os x (which we dont have anyway ;).
one of my targets was, to implement the possibility, to open a inspector-like
window (a floating panel), when users want to.
i have ideas about it, but it will result in (minor) api incompliance... thus
i will have continue thinking about it.
btw: i also attached a gstest bundle, that tests nsdrawer somehow.
