DOH was not, but neither was "Proxy DNS when using SOCKS v5". This
solved the problem!
I used the "Burger menu > preferences", not the "about:config", that's
why I missed it, I guess.

Oh, sorry, apparently, I skipped those lines! ^_^'
Now, when I type "host.myself", I'm "redirected" and my LEHO
"virtal.host.tld" shows up in the URL bar! The shield icon says
"verified by GNU", which is what I was expecting, but the page remains
empty! I'll try again with Firefox and Chromium later.
