Yes, I experienced the same on SUSE here. Hopefully, one day somebody will
take on the task to build a 'Zero Install' (http://0install.org) or
'KLIK' (http://klik.atekon.de/) package. In my opinion, that would make
testing on 'non-debian' systems much easier...
