GNUmed is technically prepared for that but does not yet
allow structured input of "race".

Indeed. For the time being I have implemented

        Schwartz, if age < 13

        MDRD, if 12 < age < 85

GNUmed asks its calculator for "eGFR on patient X" which will
return eGFR by the age-appropriate formula.
