Hi all,
This thread is triggered by the recent statement from a company from Chile
which is looking into establishing ERP and ERM platform and GNUmed could be
part of it for various reasons.
The short discussion on LinkedIn seems to indicate that they are looking into
webbased/cloud based solutions.
Here in Germany there is basically three options on cloud computing. First one
is cloud computing is cool and the future, second is cloud computing is cool
but maybe not secure, third one is cloud computing is overhyped, insecure and
to be destroyed by its roots.
Given the recent rise of smartphones, chromeboxes, tablets and whatnot chances
are that webbased (even non-cloud) apps/software will have an increasing
impact.
Please help me identify if you would use a webbased interface for GNUmed if
there was one and if not why not. Webbased here means webbrowser based but not
neccessarly internet based.
Going webbased means (apart from side issues) rewriting a webinterface. What
features of GNUmed's user interface do you consider essential for a first
implementation.
Regards,
Sebastian
