[Gnumed-devel] gnumed-client 0.5.0 issues on Mac

I figured I would

- post this for info to gnumed-devel, since few people are on gnumed- 
bugs
- cross-post this to gnumed-bugs, which might be the better place (for  
anyone subscribed there) to make their replies
- from there, I can split and add to launchpad anything that would  
warrant (after discussion)

1. wx screen size and location has so far seemed most deviant on the  
Mac. Presently the database info screen opens (on a MacBook) so  
narrowly that its bottom end and buttons are inaccessible. The user  
either needs to grasp the top of the window to drag it upward and then  
access the "Connect" button or (by virtue of that button being the  
default) the user can just press their keyboard "return" or ""enter"  
key. Since we already know there exist some wx issues on Mac and the  
problem is already logged I would not figure it adds value to make  
another launchpad ticket for this.

2. running from CVS returns the following warning

Using MacPorts, my installed packages are

        py26-wxpython 2.8.9.1_0
        python26 which is 2.6.2_4
        wxWidgets 2.8.10_0

Does the warning mean that wxWidgets must be downgraded to 2.8.9_x?
