Oh, I don't mind helping users at all. It's just that sometimes it seems a lot
harder
to do which has to do with the general computer agility the user already has --
which people cannot be blamed for either way - some know their way around their
systems better than others. It does get frustrating, however, when it seems that
data provided and tales told are not coherent - for whatever reason. We all know
similar things in our patients ... ;-)

OK, no problem:
GNUmed has the concept of "workplace". A workplace groups configuration items,
well, per workplace,
say "Ultrasound room", "exam room 3", "front desk", "medical records clerk" -
whatever you want.
One such configuration item is which plugins to load for which workplace.
GNUmed has another concept which is to store as much as possible in the
database and as little
as possible locally - including configuration.
Henceforth, plugins to load per workplace are configured IN THE DATABASE, not
in any config file.
To configure the plugins go to "GNUmed / configuration / workplace / modules"
(or similar, you
get the idea). You will then see a list of available workplaces. The one that
is active is selected.
Press the "edit" button. You will see a list of plugins which are available.
Those which are
configured to be loaded are selected. Change the selection (such as deselect
the xDT plugin) and
save your selection.
This can NOT be done from a config file.

Please try to improve the wiki page which already sort of explains this:

Thanks,
