I think the problems are that the Grid like organization of the various entry forms is only aesthetically pleasing to some people, might have usability problems if one wanted to spend more than 20 seconds making a note entry, and maybe a little worry that some very well thought out features of the schema will get hidden by a gui designed with not much separation between conceptual schema and one the specific use case of the gui. The oz usefulness of the gui also might make it not very useful in another locality. On the other hand, it is a very streamlined gui for data entry and created in response to a real use case and user workingenvironment, so if it were to be connected, its usability might become more evident.
Q. is usability a matter of taste?
