I think, although I am not sure, that:
  * A bigger asterisk could affect the layout on some browsers.
  * A very light colour will not be good for the graphic design.

I think "border: 2px" is right with the current graphic design.

Oops, you are right.

I have modified again the CSS modifying the colour to fit a bit more with the 
graphic design, but keeping the  2px

        border: 2px inset #6f5543;

I think the red colour of the border was not good for the graphic design and 
besides it was 'clashing' with the error messages when they were showed.
        "Please fill in here"


We can follow trying to improve it to get a compromise between laptops, PCs, 
etc. Victor, if you check it with your laptop let me know if there is any 
possible improvement which does not conflict with the PC case.
