Speaking about the specification, are there any chances to see GTP 2 soon?
There are ideas of turning GTP as Go Text Protocol into GTP as Game Text
Protocol flying around, which would create a nice base of SGF + GTP for
game programs.
The ideas are mainly by Inge (AFAIK, Evan too?) who is writing a quite
generic game engine (i don't spoil anything here, do i?) And i'm still
thinking about turning my go client-to-be into a game client, with support
of go and amazons, at least. So, i'm third to back those ideas.
