Designer fonts too big

When I installed Common, Forms and Designer on my system and I started
Designer, many of the fonts appear too big for the data and the window.

For example the new form wizard text runs over to the right, and the
window is not resizable, only scrollable.  Actually this seems to happen
in a number of places.  Why do you have fixed sized windows, should they 
not scale to the contents?
