There is a new development snapshot of gnucap available.
Changes:
More changes to the transient analysis step control algorithm.
This addresses the issue of the second step from the previous
snapshot. The second step is now determined correctly.
Step control is now considerably more accurate than the method
used in Spice. Often it will use more steps than Spice does.
This is because Spice computes the time step incorrectly and
gives reduced accuracy. The old gnucap algorithm (in 0.34 and
snapshots prior to 2006-06) was essentially the same as the
Spice algorithm, with the same issues.
