Status: None => Postponed

Follow-up Comment #1:
Thank you for raising this issue Sepideh. I just checked and the cause is that
the in-slice measurements are not yet implemented on clumps: due to limited
time unfortunately :-(.
But for now, the best thing I could do was to print a more informative warning
that is now implemented in
[https://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/gnuastro.git/commit/?id=64db9aab4733 Commit
64db9aab4733] (it also includes a link to this bug). In this way, at least the
users will be informed that this is a known bug and they can check its status
by visiting here.
Until then, for the scenario you gave, you can convert the rivers to a
separate label (set any '-1' valued pixel to '2' for example), then get the
spectra of both the labels. Finally, you can subtract the mean flux of label 2
(the rivers) from the mean flux of label 1 (the internal region) within the
Table program ;-). In this way you can achieve the same result as you would
for clumps for this particular problem. For other problems, it will be more
complicated, but not impossible ;-).
