Hi Amey,
The GNU project was not selected this year as an org for GSoC'21 :(
But if you still want to contribute, you can see the task and bugs and start
with any simpler ones and make your way through the codebase. We have a
dedicated manual
(https://www.gnu.org/savannah-checkouts/gnu/gnuastro/manual/gnuastro.pdf) that
can help you to get started and also has a Library section with all the
High-level library defined.
The codebase is heavily commented so it can be easy to understand as you go
through it. Please reach out if you have any further queries. Thanks for your
