Details:

Currently some of the the common options are not read from
(GAL_CONFIGFILES_READ_COMMONOPTIONS_FROM_CONF) or written
(GAL_CONFIGFILES_PRINT_COMMONOPTIONS) to the configuration files. 

However, these options can also be useful (for example if you always want the
`--keepinputdir' option to be on to write the output in the input directory).

I am working on this now ...
