Thanks to the migration to the new root data structure (task #14245),
implementing the bitwise operators was very easy and has been done and pushed
<https://gitlab.com/makhlaghi/gnuastro/commit/0ad0906b75c> to my development
fork (like all the ongoing work with this new root data structure). Just as a
reference (since its not in the main repository yet), this is the full commit
hash: 0ad0906b75cf95f5b2803b5abb71e52910c63623.
