I am not shure,
but think it will not be implemented.
The reason:
We use a heavily patched (over 20!!) 2.4.21-cdv Kernel. Nevertheless it is
highly secure and well tested over a period of 4 Months without bugs. To
develop a new (maybe buggy) Gnoppix 2.4.23-cdv Kernel is much work and
against DEBIAN philosophy of security and safety!
But for shure we are looking forward to implement a newer kernel with more
modules some next releases. But not the next ones.
Greetings,
Markus
