This is a good idea. Congratulations.

The user coulde deciede the default keyboard/language in two moments :

*In the booting, using language selector or Function key with menu (with the
possibility recieve data from the internet for another languages).
* In the desktop, like Knoppix-KDE, where the user can change the flag, to
change easily the language/keyboard.

A similar system would be stablished to chose xmodule=fbdev  in the booting
and in the desktop.
