Well, you should know it. If you have the phone and gnokii installed
just give it a try.
For Windows Mobile you could see also synce project which provides
tools to manage such phones.

I think nowadays Series40 phones prior to 3rd Ed have the best support.

Usually you can have just one cable type per particular phone.
