Hi Powel,

I'd considered the case when many were in range, and I think the best
behaviour would be to report an error for automatic detection or just
proceed as normal if a preferred model is specified.

I'd planned on adding this to the configuration, and hadn't anticipated
too much complication so hopefully I'll have a first patch to offer for
review soon.
