Problem reading SMS messages

This is a link to my question couple of months ago. There was a problem

to send SMS messages from Nokia Mobile phones using Hebrew as a language interface

Regarding the second question about locale settings, I compiled the code and added the lines

setlocale(LC_ALL, "hebrew");

 

The function returned success; perhaps I should use another argument????
