Sending vcals via smsd ?

Hi everyone,

I've been using gnokii and specifically Jan's smsd for some years now.
I've found it to work very well and reliably.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to send a vcal via smsd? 
I am hoping that a vcal is just a special form of sms that I can send.
If so, can anyone please provide me with a sample?
