Sort of...


There is a program called Gnokii which will talk to nokia mobile phones when 
they have a data cable connected to a unix (Linux,  BSD,  even some Sun 
systems are supported) host.   I use it in conjuction with some monitoring 
software so that in the event of a system failure I can get an SMS message 
from the server letting me know.

This forum is about that program.
