more pl2303

hi all!

I have a couple of questions about my USB to serial converter and it's
use with gnokii.

about gnokiid:

I can run gnokiid and the AT commands are working (AT, ATZ) but it times
out when I try to make a call, I checked my trust pl2303 logs, and it
turns out that gnokiid doesn't send any data to the phone when I send an
ATDT command to it so calling isn't working...

about xgnokii/gnokii:

Everything is working but it is dog-slow, it is very choppy, I compiled
with debug turned on (nice ascii art BTW ;-)~ )

between two different "blocks" of data, for example a telephone number
it stops for about 3-5 second and then goes really fast and then halts
again, and empty places take about 10 seconds to complete.

when I modprobe the pl2303 module with debug=1 I get a lot of
pl2303_write - already writing messages, about after every action
(According to the log)

to wrap it all up:

I really hope you can help me, and that I might have helped you, I love
your software, finially got a chance to backup my phone (after about an
hour of waiting ;-)~) I also tried it with a "normal" serial port and
there the speed was pretty good! so I guess nobody ever tested it on an
usb to serial converter...

thanx a lot!
