Thank you everyone for your helpful suggestions and spirited defence of
freedom.
We could continue the discussion but I don't think we will ever entirely
convert each other to exactly the same view - although I have certainly
thought very much about the various points that you have made and do see
the point of your arguments.
I am going to drop the subject now, so as not to clutter up the email
with pointless repetition. But i will go on thinking about the things
that you have said.
