Hello,

I finaly succeed in installing gNS on my new laptop (problems are described
below, in the first message). But what can interest other people is how: I did
install gNS 2.2 (not 2.3), and all the updates worked fine.

More interessting: when I did install, the first time, gNS 2.3, I had not only
problem with the package linux 2.6.24-24-generic 2.6.24-24.61 - 404 not found.
My computer became unstable: I spoke about graphic card, but I had also
problems with keyboard (not the good langage after updates), and network
doesn't work (not only wifi, also lan).

So, I don't understand what happends with my gNS 2.3 installation (I checked
the disk and the md5sum, of course). I just wanted to tell about my recent
experience, and how I succeed in installing gNS on my new laptop.

Thanks for your help.

Christophe
