No it's not. The Linux kernel contains non-free software. The Free
Software Foundation Latin America has a project to make it free:
http://linux-libre.fsfla.org. You can download the source and compile
from there. Also, they have been pre-compiled and packaged for your
convenience here: http://aligunduz.org/gNewSense/. It is up to you.
