[gNewSense-users] help with an article about gNS

hello,

i am writing an article about gnewsense for a german online magazine
(http://www.freiesmagazin.de/). For this article i'd need some
examples of non-free software, which is included in ubuntu and was
removed when building gns. it would be very important for these
examples to be well-documented, i.e. the non-freeness of this software
should be easily verifiable - if not, i will not be able to mention
the example in the article.
software which could be mentioned includes binary firmware and drivers
in the ubuntu kernel.
i would be very grateful if you could send me the name of some
software, together with one or more links where to find the necessary
information about the software.
the more examples i can mention in this article, the better.
