On the Home page the translations *are* across the top.

I'm only guessing, but because he doesn't see a big problem with the
current situation.
Or (the IMHO) because a lot of the changes don't add much to the site.
Some of the restructuring things will help.
But they can be done by re-linking some pages, not moving chunks of
site around.

Doesnt seem needed to have a builder download link in the main page.

Why the split?
Incidentally, all the doco is in the wiki, so anyone can move it anyway.

Should be a link to the FSF pages.
We can better serve the community by helping update those.

I think the direction of the menu is a rather trivial thing to worry
about when we don't have useful doco  yet ;)
