Contact the author please.
I suspect what will need to happen (ultimately) is;
- you ask the author
- they publish the source 'properly'
- we/i/you files a bug with debian to get it packaged by the alsa team
(or whoever looks after alsa)
- this problem goes away properly in a [debian] release or so.
For us to keep those files we would have to introduce the package into
our repo of our own accord i expect.
