Yes, I did describe my AMD 64-bit system.  However, this is a server
that has run fine non-stop with just 32-bit gNS userland, so I have not
been motivated to work on porting.

I would guess that good *virtualization* packages would ease the
transition, e.g., KVM would take advantage of AMD VT.  Testing
subsystems under a 64-bit VM would feel safer and be more convenient.
