Yes, gnewsense-standard still depends on it.

It is disabled by default, but from what I see on ubuntu-users, people
don't know/believe this, and are uncomfortable.  They will be more
uncomfortable if they're using gnewsense and see it still pointing to
ubuntu.  It is probably best just to remove the dependency from
gnewsense-standard.
