Actually, I've found that most are. Try looking on mozdev.org .
Everything there is "shared source", and it is my experience (from
manually checking CVS) that most are free software. I think all the
extensions I use are, including my favorites: Ad-block Plus,
Greasemonkey, and NoScript.
