Hi,

Can anyone recommend a USB or PCI wireless card that works well with
gNewSense out of the box? I'm hoping there's one that exists that works
as well as the general standard with a proprietary driver under MS
Windows. I've looked at the hardware list on the FSF site, but I'd like
to find out if anyone has any experience with any of the ones other than
the two confirmed to work by them. I'm using a Safecom USB card with a
Zydas ZD1211B chipset under Ubuntu at the moment, but I had to compile
it myself, it needs proprietary firmware, and it often slows down and
crashes the kernel, usually at the worst possible time. If possible I'd
like to be able to get the card from somewhere in the UK, but as long as
it works here I don't really mind.

Thanks,

Guy
