There are several answers to the points raised below and mostly they are
opinions, so they are opinions that can change over time, should other
information influence them.

Unless we get more hands on deck that can do what Brian wants done we
are not going to be able to track their 6 month cycle.
There are things that need doing and some of them are getting done at
the moment. When we have enough hands to consider more work we can
consider it then.

Support time will be more than likely as long as upstream supports where
we forked from. Given what is upstream I guess the link stays until
there is momentum to do something else. Right now I do not see that
being the case.

Both situations have advantages, but we will have to see what we think
over time. If you were to ask what are the key performance indicators
for this situation, we don't have any, so it is static for now.

As another interesting aside one should keep in mind where the whole
"open" solaris gig could go, and how it could get advantage. This is
really interesting given what has happened to Java.

It will more than likely be after 2.16 before a new version of gnome
gets into gNewSense.

Our view is that we are not going to do that. We see it as a problem,
and not one for us to solve. We have other items to look after.
